Elder Professor Samuel Antwi Appointed First Pro Vice-Chancellor of UPSA

Elder Professor Samuel Antwi Appointed First Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer) of UPSA.

Elder Professor Samuel Antwi of the Koforidua Royal Central Assembly of TAC-GH has been appointed as the first Pro Vice-Chancellor by the Governing Council of the University of Professional Studies during a special meeting held on June 7, 2024.

In this role, he will oversee Research Innovation and Knowledge Transfer (RIKT) at the University, among other statutory responsibilities. This appointment marks a transition from his position as the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, which he has held since January, 2023. Elder Antwi, who previously served as the Presiding Elder of the Koforidua Royal Central Assembly, has been a dedicated member of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, significantly contributing to its growth and development.

His commitment began during his student years when he served as President of the APOSA-UG Chapter in the 2001/2002 academic year. This new appointment reflects his hard work, diligence, and commitment as a steward of the opportunities afforded to him throughout his professional career. The leadership and membership of TAC-GH are pleased to congratulate and celebrate our esteemed son, brother, friend, and father on this notable achievement. We pray for God’s guidance and support as he undertakes this important role.
