MINISTERS’ MODEL HOUSING SCHEME TO BEGIN

The President of The Apostolic Church-Ghana; Apostle Dr. Aaron Ami-Narh has led the Executive and Members of the Ascension Minister’s Welfare Association to cut the sod for the commencement of a housing scheme for Ministers at Gomoa Abasa.

The first phase of this scheme plots was started at the association’s site near Dodowa. The brief ceremony which took place in the early hours of Thursday 12th September,2024, is a significant landmark of leadership’s deep concern about the future of its Ministers who had touched lives variously and need to have stress-free accommodation during their retirement.

Breaking the grounds, Aps. Dr. Ami-Narh said He was thankful and highly indebted to his predecessors for acquiring the land which being put to use today.. He thanked Aps. George Aikins (Rtd) who moved to secure the land and continue to provide a watchdog service against encroachers. He thanked also the Swedru Area leadership for all their efforts to safeguard the place.

Aps. Alex Boateng, the General Secreitary, Aps. Sandow (Swedru Area Superintendent) and Aps. Abraham Ofori-Kuragu, the Secretary to The Apostolic Church Cooperative Credit Union (TACCU) board jointly cut the top for the ceremony.

Among the dignitaries were the Swedru Area women’s leader and her committee members, Ascension Minister’s Welfare Committee members, the media and staff of the Corporate Affairs Unit.
