The Women’s Movement of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, Kaneshie Area, has commissioned a newly constructed Bus Stop Shed in Bubuashie, Accra on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
This project, led by the Women’s Movement with the support of Area Superintendent Apostle Seth Gakpetor and Area Women’s Leader Deaconess Martha Clottey, represents a meaningful step in the Church’s mission to serve and uplift the local community.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by Deaconess Abigail Boakye, the Area Women’s Secretary, as well as Pastor J.K. Clottey, the Area Women’s Pastor, and other local leaders. The construction of the shed, which began in July 2024, was designed not just as a shelter but as a place of comfort and peace for all who wait there. Inscribed with verses such as Matthew 11:28, Acts 2:21, and Romans 6:21, the shed speaks of God’s love and hope, creating a place of spiritual encouragement alongside physical protection.
Aligning with the Kaneshie Area Women’s Movement’s annual goal to positively impact their community, this bus stop provides a welcome refuge from the heat while inspiring faith and service. Through projects like these, the Women’s Movement expresses the Church’s commitment to soul-winning and community transformation, reflecting Christ’s love in action.
The Apostolic Church-Ghana Kaneshie Area Women’s Movement continues to demonstrate its dedication to serving Bubuashie and beyond, bringing people closer to Christ through both practical and spiritual support
