The Chairman of the Governing Council of ACTS, Apostle Dr. Kwabena Akufo, has matriculated forty students to undergo a four-year academic and spiritual training as ministers of the gospel.
These students are made up of 36 Ghanaians and four sister African nations on a scholarship provided by The Apostolic Church-Ghana. The foreign students are members of the Apostolic Africa fraternity from Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini.
Delivering his address at the ceremony on the Kumasi Campus on the 14th September 2024, Aps. Dr. Akufo referred to the matriculants as ‘pioneering members’ of the Bachelor of Arts in Ministry of ACTS who are at the forefront of new ideas, challenges, and opportunities. He told the matriculant in other for them to take advantage of the opportunities and minimize the challenges of being pioneering student, they will need to fuse faith, character, intellectual capacity, and entrepreneurial spirit into the modus operandi during their tenure of study at ACTS.
He urges the matriculants to exhibit the following traits: deep spirituality, missionary zeal, humility, Integrity, intellectual curiosity, innovation, adaptability, courage, optimism, and resilience to achieve success at ACTS.
