The Women’s Movement of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, Teshie-Nungua Area, embarked on a heartwarming donation exercise to the New Life Children’s Home in Nungua on Friday, 22nd November 2024.

New Life Children’s Home, a non-governmental organization founded by Otinnor Mantse, Nii Afotey Botwe II, is driven by a passionate commitment to support the development of homeless orphans in Ghana. Inspired by this noble vision, the Teshie-Nungua Area Women’s Movement, under the leadership of their Area Head Pastor, Emmanuel Acquaye (SM), and the Area Women’s Leader, Deaconess Rebecca T. Adjetey, made a significant contribution to the home.

The donation included essential items such as food supplies, toiletries, and clothing, aimed at improving the welfare of the children. During the presentation, Pastor Emmanuel Acquaye emphasized that the initiative reflects the Movement’s dedication to extending Christ’s love to the vulnerable in society. Referencing Matthew 25:35-36, he noted: “For I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me.”

This act of kindness aligns with the Movement’s mission to make a tangible impact in the lives of those in need while showcasing the Church’s commitment to community service.

Expressing his gratitude, the founder of New Life Children’s Home, Nii Afotey Botwe II, commended the Women’s Movement for their generosity. He remarked, “This support goes a long way to affirm that we are not alone in this journey. Your love and care for these children are deeply appreciated.”

The event left an indelible mark on the beneficiaries and demonstrated the Church’s continued efforts to live out its calling to serve humanity with compassion and purpose.
